Continuing through the property, you'll find the spacious kitchen and dining area. Fully equipped with everything needed for self-catering stays, it's a wonderful space for preparing family meals, enjoying leisurely breakfasts or gathering around the dining table after a day at the beach.

Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom, offering convenience and practicality for all guests throughout their stay.

Things to Note

Check in is 3pm allowing you to enjoy a leisurely afternoon and evening when you arrive and check out is at 10am so you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast before you depart.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor, making it ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach or relaxing in the garden. As a traditional 1850s fisherman's cottage, the stairs are steeper than those found in many modern homes, a charming feature that reflects the property's historic character and heritage.

You’ll find everything you need to settle in and start your break straight away — from basic toiletries to tea and coffee (including a few pods for the coffee machine), so you can enjoy a relaxing brew the moment you arrive.

If you’d like to stock up for your stay, you can arrange a grocery delivery from local supermarket Sainsbury’s, or pop to Waitrose which is just five minutes’ walk away.

Parking is free on the street directly outside the property and there is typically plenty. The nearest bus stop is at Red Lion Square in Hythe town centre, approximately a 10-minute walk (around 0.5 miles) from the cottage, with regular services to Folkestone, Ashford and the surrounding area. The nearest train stations are Sandling or two Folkestone stations, all of which are a short taxi ride.
