The kitchen leads through to a separate dining room with a wooden dining table for six, perfect for family meals or social evenings.
One of the cottage’s most delightful surprises is the bright conservatory room, which doubles as a small workout space. Here you’ll find free weights, light gym equipment and a yoga mat — ideal for keeping up your fitness routine or starting the day with a stretch before exploring.
Upstairs, three beautifully presented bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements: one king-size, one double and one single with a pull-out trundle to form a twin. The family bathroom features a large double shower, complemented by a separate WC.
Outside, the private courtyard garden provides a peaceful suntrap, complete with loungers and outdoor furniture for dining or relaxing in the fresh air.
Location-wise, you’re just a one-minute walk from Saltwood’s village centre, home to a welcoming pub, Saltwood Castle and the outstanding Hide and Fox restaurant — now awarded two Michelin stars (2025). Scenic walks, the American Gardens and the coast are all within easy reach, while trains, buses and free roadside parking make travel effortless.

Step up a few stone steps from the front of the unmistakable pink cottage and through the main door into a small porch area. To your right, you’ll find the spacious lounge, a bright and comfortable room with a mix of armchairs and sofas, a large Smart TV and a dedicated workstation for anyone needing to catch up on emails. A log-burning stove takes centre stage and a complimentary basket of logs is provided at check-in to get you started on those cosy evenings in.
At the rear of the lounge, double doors lead through to the conservatory, which has been cleverly set up as a light workout area with free weights, a yoga mat and other light gym equipment. There’s also a comfortable sofa — an inviting spot to relax on a sunny afternoon. From here, step directly into the enclosed courtyard garden, arranged over several patio levels and furnished with sun loungers, a dining set and an egg swing chair — a private oasis for morning coffee or an evening drink.
Back inside, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need: an oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, air fryer and coffee machine. The original fireplace opening now forms a charming view through to the dining room, which you reach via an archway. The dining space features a round table with six colourful chairs, bay window, and plenty of room for sociable meals.
