Wake up to huge skies, rolling Kent countryside and views stretching towards the sea at Eeyore’s Place, a luxury three-bedroom log cabin tucked away at peaceful Honeypot Farm in Lympne.
Sleeping up to eight guests with the additional sofa bed, this is the kind of place made for bringing everyone together: family weekends, escapes with friends or simply a few days away where the biggest decision is whether to head out exploring or stay exactly where you are.
And then there’s the private hot tub.
Step outside in the morning with a coffee and watch the countryside wake up around you, or climb into the bubbles at the end of the day as the light disappears across the fields. Guests particularly love the peaceful setting and open views - it’s easy to understand why.
Inside Eeyore’s Place
The heart of the cabin is the generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, designed so that nobody gets left out of the conversation.
Rich, opulent colours, elegant furnishings and comfortable seating give Eeyore’s Place a luxurious feel while still making it somewhere you can genuinely relax. Cook together in the fully equipped contemporary kitchen, gather around the table for a long dinner, then settle into the living area with the countryside stretching out beyond the windows.
There are three beautifully styled bedrooms and three bathrooms, giving groups plenty of space to get ready without everyone queueing for the shower.
Two bedrooms have super king-size beds that can be configured as twins on request, making the cabin equally suited to couples, families or groups of friends.
The three bathrooms include two large walk-in showers and one bathroom with a bath – ideal when only a long soak will do after a day spent exploring Kent.
Step outside…
This is where staying at Honeypot Farm really comes into its own.
You’re surrounded by open countryside, with footpaths and bridleways leading away in every direction for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting. There’s a wonderful feeling of space and tranquillity here, something guests regularly comment on.
Yet one of Kent’s most memorable attractions is just minutes away: Port Lympne Wild Animal Reserve, where you can spend the day spotting incredible animals before retreating to your own hot tub overlooking the countryside.
And when you want the coast, you have the best of both worlds, with Kent’s seaside within easy reach.

Right next door is an additional one-bedroom lodge sleeping up to four guests, which can be hired separately.

Arriving at Eeyore’s Place
The experience starts before you even open the front door.
As you descend the driveway towards Honeypot Farm, the landscape opens up in front of you, revealing sweeping views across Lympne and towards the sea. It’s your first glimpse of the peace, space and countryside that will surround you during your stay.
There’s parking directly outside the cabin, so unloading bags and getting everyone settled couldn’t be easier. From here, a few steps lead up to the entrance of Eeyore’s Place.
Step inside
Open the door and you’re welcomed into a spacious hallway, where warm tones and luxurious touches give you an immediate sense that this is somewhere a little special.
The hallway is also home to a high-quality sofa bed, providing additional sleeping space and allowing Eeyore’s Place to accommodate up to eight guests.
Two of the three bedrooms are located just off this hallway. Both are designed to feel indulgent and restful, with plush bedding, soft lighting and plenty of hanging and drawer space for unpacking properly rather than living out of a suitcase.
Better still, each has its own large en-suite shower room, giving couples, friends and families their own private space to get ready in the morning.
The heart of the cabin
Continue along the hallway and Eeyore’s Place suddenly opens up into its impressive open-plan living and dining space.
This is where everyone can come together.
Sink into the generous corner of comfortable sofa seating for a film on the Smart TV, catch up over a drink after a day exploring Kent, or simply settle in and enjoy having nowhere you need to be.
The substantial dining table seats eight guests, creating a proper gathering place for leisurely breakfasts, big evening meals, games around the table and conversations that last far longer than dinner.
Your third bedroom
Leading from the dining area is the third bedroom, another beautifully finished space with luxurious bedding and thoughtfully considered storage.
This bedroom has its own spacious en-suite bathroom with a full-size bath. When you’ve spent the day walking the surrounding countryside or exploring the Kent coast, a long soak before dinner may be exactly what’s required.
With three bedrooms and three bathrooms in total, Eeyore’s Place works particularly well for groups who want to holiday together without sacrificing their own space.
And finally, outside…
Open the back door from the dining area and step into your private garden space overlooking the peaceful pond.
It’s a wonderfully tranquil spot and another place from which to appreciate the views that make this setting so memorable.
Bring your coffee outside while the countryside wakes up around you. Sit out with a drink at the end of the day. Or simply enjoy the rare pleasure of doing absolutely nothing while looking out over the Kent landscape.
And, of course, there’s the private hot tub waiting for you too – your place to sink into the bubbles, take in those far-reaching countryside views and properly switch off.

Things to Note
Parties, gatherings and other social functions are strictly prohibited.
The two bedrooms with superking beds can be reconfigured as twin bedrooms, but we must receive your request more than 7 days prior to your stay to guarantee this set up.
Guests and visitors are asked to keep noise levels to a minimum between 11pm to 8am as a courtesy to our neighbours.
Please leave the property in a respectful condition. Some cleaning products and a dustpan and brush are in the cupboard underneath the kitchen sink, which you can use during your stay, if you need to.
We charge an additional pet fee, which helps towards the additional cost of cleaning the property after pets have stayed, plus it helps with the wear and tear of the furniture.
By deciding to bring your pet with you, you agree to pay for any damages relating to the pets, either through a clam via the booking portal that you booked through, or from your deposit paid directly.
- You are not permitted to leave the pet inside the property without an adult present
- If your pet needs to go to the toilet, please walk it to a nearby grass area and make sure you safely dispose of any waste
- No pets are allowed on any furniture
- Please keep dogs on a lead in the outside areas

The area surrounding Eeyore's Place at Honeypot Farm is one of Kent’s most beautiful and underrated holiday destinations. Set on the outskirts of Lympne, the landscape here is defined by rolling hills, sweeping farmland and huge skyline views that stretch all the way to the English Channel. It’s a place where time slows down, the air feels clearer and every walk begins right from your doorstep.
Lympne itself is a charming historic village perched high on the hillside, known for its ancient castle, pretty cottages, and peaceful atmosphere. The village pub is a favourite with locals and visitors alike, offering hearty food and a warm welcome. Just beyond the village is the renowned Port Lympne Reserve, home to hundreds of rare and endangered animals — a spectacular day out for families, couples and wildlife lovers.
Nature lovers are spoilt for choice here. Footpaths weave out in every direction, taking you across meadows, through woodland and along quiet country lanes. You can walk for miles without seeing a car, with only birdsong and the occasional sea breeze for company. On clear days, the views sweep right across Romney Marsh, over the coastline and even towards France.
The coast is just a short drive away, giving you easy access to the pebbly shores of Hythe, the sandy beaches of Dymchurch and the vast open sands at St Mary’s Bay. Hythe’s charming high street is filled with independent shops, cafés and restaurants, while its canal offers peaceful boat trips and waterside strolls.
For day trips, you’re perfectly placed to explore Folkestone’s creative seafront, the historic city of Canterbury, or the beautiful Kent Downs AONB. Whether you want relaxation, adventure, wildlife, coast or countryside, this area delivers it all — a truly idyllic base for a refreshing and memorable holiday.
