The outdoor space is one of the real highlights. Step outside, breathe in the fresh country air and take in the sweeping panorama across Lympne, Romney Marsh and towards the sea. The private hot tub provides the perfect place to relax after exploring the local countryside or visiting nearby Port Lympne Reserve. Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful morning outside, watching the landscape change throughout the day or unwinding beneath the evening sky, this is a setting designed for switching off completely.

Previous guests have described the views as “unbelievable” and among the best they have experienced anywhere—and photographs can barely capture the scale and beauty of the scenery. Even on a wet winter’s day, the landscape remains wonderfully atmospheric.

Inside, Piglet’s Place is warm, stylish and exceptionally comfortable. The fully equipped fitted kitchen has everything required for an easy self-catering break, set beside a large window. It’s a wonderful spot for your morning coffee while looking out across the rolling countryside.

The spacious lounge has two expansive windows that fill the room with natural light and frame those remarkable views. A large, comfortable sofa converts into an additional bed for two guests, while the Smart TV is ideal for relaxed evenings after a day spent exploring.

Just beyond the lounge is the playfully decorated bedroom, furnished with a comfortable double bed and soft, inviting bedding. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful views create a wonderfully restful space in which to begin and end each day. The cabin also includes a modern family shower room and a useful entrance porch for coats, shoes and outdoor essentials.

Piglet’s Place is particularly well located for visits to Port Lympne Reserve, which is only minutes away and makes the cabin an excellent choice for couples and families planning a safari park break. Walking routes begin close to the property, including a picturesque route down the hillside towards the Royal Military Canal.

For larger families or groups of friends, neighbouring Eeyore’s Place sleeps up to eight guests. The two cabins can be booked together, allowing everyone to holiday nearby while retaining their own accommodation and private space.

The private hot tub is perfectly placed for relaxing while surrounded by open countryside—ideal after a day at Port Lympne, a long local walk or simply whenever you feel like doing very little at all.

Enter the cabin through the practical porch and utility area, where there is space for outdoor shoes, coats and everyday essentials.

From here, you’ll step into the fully equipped fitted kitchen. A breakfast bar provides a relaxed place to eat, while the large window brings the surrounding landscape into the room. Even preparing breakfast feels rather special with views like these.

A short hallway leads towards the main living spaces. The modern family shower room is situated just off the hallway and is conveniently positioned for all guests.

Continue into the generous lounge, where two large windows showcase the cabin’s remarkable countryside and sea views. The comfortable sofa provides plenty of room to relax and converts into a spacious bed for two additional guests. A flat-screen Smart TV is available for quiet evenings inside.

For groups requiring more space, Eeyore’s Place is located next door and sleeps up to eight guests. Both cabins can be reserved together to accommodate an extended family or group while allowing each party to enjoy its own comfortable retreat.

Things to Note

Smoking is not permitted at any time inside the property. If you smoke in the outside areas please remove any cigarette ends.

Parties, gatherings and other social functions are strictly prohibited.

Guests and visitors are asked to keep noise levels to a minimum between 11pm to 8am as a courtesy to our neighbours.

Please leave the property in a respectful condition. Some cleaning products and a dustpan and brush are in the cupboard underneath the kitchen sink, which you can use during your stay, if you need to. 

If you would lie to hire the hot tub it is available at an additional cost of £50 per night. Please book more than 7 days in advance to secure. 
 

We charge an additional pet fee, which helps towards the additional cost of cleaning the property after pets have stayed, plus it helps with the wear and tear of the furniture.

By deciding to bring your pet with you, you agree to pay for any damages relating to the pets, either through a clam via the booking portal that you booked through, or from your deposit paid directly.

  • You are not permitted to leave the pet inside the property without an adult present
  • If your pet needs to go to the toilet, please walk it to a nearby grass area and make sure you safely dispose of any waste
  • No pets are allowed on any furniture
  • Please keep dogs on a lead in the outside areas

Piglet’s Place sits within Honeypot Farm, on the outskirts of the historic village of Lympne. Its elevated countryside setting delivers extraordinary views across rolling farmland and Romney Marsh, extending towards the Kent coastline and the sea beyond.

Despite its peaceful and secluded atmosphere, the cabin is exceptionally well placed for exploring the area. Port Lympne Reserve is only minutes away, making Piglet’s Place a fantastic base for a family safari adventure, a special couple’s break or a wildlife-filled weekend.

The village of Lympne is known for its beautiful hillside setting, historic castle and collection of pretty homes. Its welcoming village pub is a popular place for food and drinks, while the surrounding footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes make it easy to discover the countryside on foot.

A scenic walk leads down the hillside towards the Royal Military Canal, where you can enjoy peaceful waterside routes surrounded by wildlife and countryside. On clear days, the elevated position provides expansive views across Romney Marsh and towards the Channel.

The pretty market town of Hythe is a short drive away. Here you’ll find independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, along with a long pebbled beach and attractive walks beside the canal. You can also take a traditional canal boat trip or travel along the coast aboard the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.

For sandy beaches, visit Dymchurch or St Mary’s Bay. Folkestone’s harbour, Creative Quarter and seafront restaurants are also within easy reach, while Canterbury and the Kent Downs provide excellent options for a longer day out.
